The Centre for Essential Skills, IIT Jammu successfully organized and managed a comprehensive five-day training program from 1st to 5th July 2024. The event aimed to enhance the professional skills and domain-specific knowledge of the participants, ensuring they are well-equipped to implement advanced education and training methods in their respective fields.
Day 1:
The first day of the training program comprised four engaging sessions, each lasting 1.5 hours.
Session 1: Effective Communication
– Instructor: Ms. Jahnavi Gupta
– Summary: This session focused on the fundamentals of effective communication, including techniques for clear and impactful expression, active listening, and constructive feedback.
Session 2: Professional Ethics, Leadership, and Motivation

The next three days were entirely dedicated to domain-specific sessions. These sessions aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, ensuring that the participants could effectively incorporate modern tools and techniques into their curricula.
Day 5:
The final day of the training program included four informative sessions followed by a closing ceremony.
Session 1: Learning Management Software, Open Source Software, Its Features, Demonstration, and Discussion

Session 2: Report Writing, Documentation, Networking, and Government Schemes
